HTC's superlative One X has emerged as one of the most exciting smartphones of 2012, owing in no small part to its amazing display and unique design. Both the international model and the AT&T-branded version — with LTE support and Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor — have earned high marks in our reviews.

Do you want one? For free?

We've got you covered. AT&T and The Verge are offering one lucky reader an HTC One X with Beats Audio on us, which means you'll have the opportunity to recreate the Run commercial yourself. To enter, send an email to onexcontest [at] theverge [dot] com with the answer to the following question in your subject line:

Nilay once said that he's only ever "stupidly loved" two phones. What are they?

Remember, you must email your answer to us, and the answer must be in the subject line — we won't count your response if you have anything else in the subject. Comments on this post will not be counted! The contest ends on Tuesday, August 7th at 12:00PM ET, so you've got a little time to figure this out. The contest is open to residents of the US and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are at least 18 years old.

That's it! We'll pick one correct respondent to receive a beautiful HTC One X.

By participating in this contest, you are subject to the official rules — find them here.

Update: Congratulations to Curtis D. of Raleigh, North Carolina for submitting the winning response! Did you figure it out? The answer can be found in a Verge Forums thread from late last year entitled "This is the greatest phone of all time," where Nilay said that he "stupidly loved" the Sony Ericsson W810i and the Sony Zuma CMZ-D200 (note that he actually meant the CM-Z200 — there is no CMZ-D200 — so we accepted both answers when choosing a winning response). Thanks for playing, and look out for another contest soon!
