Microsoft bashed Apple's iPad Pro earlier this month, and now it's back to reignite the Mac vs. PC war once again. This time around, Microsoft has created a quirky ad in the style of a musical to try and tempt MacBook shoppers into buying a Surface Pro 4 instead. Microsoft features most of the same comparison points that were used when the company reignited the Mac vs. PC conflict two years ago.
A detachable keyboard, pen, and touchscreen are the main selling points, and Microsoft labels the MacBook Air "slower, heavier, and a bit square" in the commercial. "It's less useful, like a hat for your cat." It's back to school season and the holidays are slowly approaching, so it's clear what kind of Surface ads we're going to see regularly on TV screens this year. Microsoft used similar comparison tactics two years ago, with ads bashing the iPad, Siri, and the MacBook Air.
