Corsair’s mechanical keyboards have long been regarded as some of the best in the world when it comes to gaming. And after releasing its newest Lux keyboards in the United States back in April, Corsair announced last week that its new K70 Lux RGB and K65 Lux RGB are now available in the rest of the world.

The K70 Lux RGB and K65 Lux RGB replace the similar K70 RGB and K65 RGB models, with Corsair touting a special large font for the Lux series to allow for great visibility of the lighting, alongside an updated lighting controller and a passthrough USB port.

Both the K70 Lux RGB and K65 Lux RGB offer an aluminum frame, per key customizable lighting, and the latest Cherry MX RGB switches. As with the non-Lux models, the K70 Lux RGB features a larger full keyboard with a number pad, while the smaller "tenkeyless" K65 Lux RGB eschews the number pad for a smaller footprint. (The K70 Lux is also available in a single color, non-RGB version.)

All three of the keyboards are available with either Cherry MX RGB Red, Brown, or Blue switches, which range from less resistance on the Red, medium on the Brown, and a full audible tactile click on the Blue.

Corsair’s keyboards are at the higher end of the gaming keyboard market

Despite the various improvements in the Lux models, it should be noted that they lack the programable macro keys of the larger K95 RGB (which currently does not have a Lux variant). Additionally, at $169.99 and $129.99 for the K70 Lux RGB and K65 Lux RGB, respectively, Corsair’s keyboards are definitely at the higher end of the gaming keyboard market.
