Telltale Games' The Walking Dead adaptation is delivering more of its compelling interactive narrative this November with "A New Frontier," the third season in the series. The plot, having jumped a few years, now features one of the protagonists from season one, Clementine, as a teenager alongside a second playable character named Javier. You can expect more of series' signature moral decision-making, which often involves doing something unspeakable to avoid being consumed alive by zombies. But as Telltale executive producer Kevin Boyle explains, there's now some mystery thrown in with the horror.

"Years later, meeting her for the first time, Javier will begin to unravel the mystery of who Clementine has become, as her story intersects with his — both of them still driven by the things they value most long after society's collapse," Boyle said today at the PAX West conference. There's no concrete release date set, but Telltale says the game will be available in November for consoles, mobile devices, and on PC. You'll also be able to buy a disc for the console version, which will net you the premiere and downloads for the subsequent four episodes as the season unfolds. For those who haven't seen it, check out the intense minute-long teaser released back at E3.
