If you're a Facebook user as well as a fan of staying on top of the ever-churning news cycle, you're going to love this. As you know, The Verge is able to track long, complicated news stories over time thanks to our StoryStream technology (part of the ingenious Chorus platform which powers all of Vox Media). What you might not know is that now if you "like" one of our StoryStreams on Facebook, you'll automatically see major updates to that story appear in your news feed.
Yes, it's that frictionless sharing you've all been hearing about. Now, you're not going to be flooded with updates — we're only pushing new stories that are marked as high priority additions to the Stream, so you get the biggest news as it happens. The functionality has been live for a little while now, but we've been testing and watching to see how it works — and we're pretty psyched with the results. So from now on, if you want to make sure you never miss an update, just "like" away. You'll thank us later!
To get you started, here are a few big, recent stories we've been tracking that you can expect more news on, as well as a couple of pieces of our recurring coverage, like our interview series. And as a bonus, we've compiled all of our StoryStreams under a label to help you find the good stuff.
